Thank You for Making 2025 Trenton Plates a Success!
In collaboration with Rise Against Hunger, Cross Community, Inc. proudly hosted Trenton Plates, the World Takes — a citywide and global effort to fight food insecurity both here in Trenton and around the world.
This year, over 1,200 volunteers gathered for a single-day effort and surpassed our goal by packaging an incredible 308,000 meals — including 108,000 meals during our first shift alone! These meals were shipped the very next day to communities in need in the Philippines, where one box of meals helps feed a child for an entire school year.
In addition to our global impact, we collected and donated over 3,000 pounds of nonperishable food and fresh produce to local organizations including Mercer Street Friends, ensuring that families in our own community also felt the love and support.
We’re deeply grateful to every volunteer, sponsor, partner, and donor who made this possible.
Stay tuned for Trenton Plates 2026!
