CCI FREEDOM SCHOOLS
The CCI Freedom Schools are sponsor sites of the Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools®. We serve children from the Greater Trenton Area in grades K - 8 by offering quality summer reading enrichment and STEM programming at no cost to their families. All of our students receive 2 meals and a snack each day, have the opportunity to take field trips, and learn new skills from our dedicated team.

Thanks to the generosity of Villa Victoria Academy and the College of New Jersey, we are able to host the CCI Freedom Schools in safe settings with plenty of space for our students to learn and have fun.

The 2025 CCI Freedom Schools have come to a close. Thank you to all of our wonderful staff and volunteers for your hard work and dedication this summer! More importantly, thank you to our Freedom School Families who trusted us to care for your children and grow with them. See you next year!
Join Our 2025 Team
The CCI Freedom Schools are led by a group of devoted educators who put children and their learning journeys first.
Our Servant Leader Interns are college-aged adults who are well-trained and eager to work with our students and tell them about their experiences in college as education, math, business, psychology, biology, sociology, and even kinesiology majors.

People always ask how they can support our program. The easiest way is to donate supplies.
