In collaboration with Rise Against Hunger, Cross Community, Inc. is proud to host Trenton Plates, the World Takes. This event battles food insecurity here in Trenton and around the world. In 2024, our volunteers were able to package over 125,000 meals to be sent out to children in need in Africa and Asia. We also collected and donated over 2,000 pounds of food to be sent to Arm in Arm and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). In 2025, we're going even bigger!

This year, we'll work to package over 285,000 meals and collect over 3,000 pounds of food while actively working within our community. This means we are working hard to recruit more volunteers. Cross Community is reaching out to more individuals, schools and colleges, youth organizations, social clubs, churches, non-profits, and families to lend a hand.
