About the event

Join Cross Community Inc.’s TRU Initiative on Saturday, April 25 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) at Howell Living History Farm in Hopewell Township. Volunteers of all ages will help plant a field of potatoes expected to produce over 2,000 pounds of food for local soup kitchens. Participants will assist farmers by placing seed potatoes into freshly plowed rows as horses guide the plow. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity to serve the community while experiencing historic farming methods.
